For the past year, Katja Stiller and I have been facilitating sessions for the Creative Insights project, funded with assistance from Cardiff and Vale Health Lottery and Tanio Arts. We have been working with a group of people with lived experience of eating disorders, to develop creative content for the Cardiff and Vale Adult Eating Disorders Service. Today, we installed an exhibition of work that was made over the past year at the Hearth Gallery in Llandough hospital in time for the launch of the website on 1st March. Having transferred the project to Zoom at the beginning of lockdown, we were pleased to be able to meet in person to curate the exhibition with Molly Lewis, the gallery co-ordinator. As well as the framed work, we arranged participants’ notes from the process on a big notice board, interspersed with photos and quotes about the experience.
