I offer individual and group therapeutic art sessions for children, teenagers, and adults in central Cardiff.
If you struggle with expressing emotions and experiences verbally, having an outlet through art can help to improve emotional regulation and coping mechanisms. It is not about the final product; it is about healing through the process of experimenting with different materials.
Sessions are one hour long and take place in central Cardiff.

In these sessions we might use natural materials to make prints with, clay to sculpt with, and charcoal and paint for self-exploration and enjoyment. You don’t need any experience of art-making to benefit from these sessions.

Therapeutic art can help provide a way to deal with stress by facilitating a ‘flow’ state‘ which can increase wellbeing. Improved focus and increased confidence can reduce anxiety and stress.

Expressing yourself through art has been proven to have physical and mental health benefits.
Therapeutic art sessions with children can help them express themselves, cope with stress and anxiety, and improve their emotional wellbeing. They can also be a bonding experience to take part in for parents and children.
